Carisa Dias, born in Lisbon to Cape Verdean parents and raised in Luxembourg, embodies the essence of being a global citizen, which is reflected in her music. Drawing from the richness of Cape Verdean morna, the captivating rhythms of Afro-beats, the gentleness of bossa nova, and the harmonies of pop and soul, the singer blends various sounds and cultures to create a unique repertoire. Her debut album, “Carisa,” seamlessly merges tradition and modernity, inviting listeners on a musical journey without borders.
