Tuys – 18th Birthday Bash & EP Release

Tuys are celebrating the release of their EP and the band’s 18^th anniversary with a headline show and a party. Guests include C’est Karma, Maz, Edsun, Poko from Eternal Tango and local newcomers Fulvous.

The band was founded in 2007 by three primary school friends and continues to be their life project with a new base in Berlin. Between energetic live shows and cinematic videos, Tuys craft an exuberant mix of art rock and pop hooks. They create driving art rock and emotive psych pop music with chiming guitars, synths, and wide-ranging vocals. Their music is accompanied by visual storytelling that explores metafiction and aesthetic satire.

Tuys have played festivals such as ESNS23, Iceland Airwaves, MS Dockville, The Great Escape and Reeperbahn Festival. They have supported Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, Everything Everything, Imagine Dragons, Thirty Seconds to Mars and The Kooks in the past and. Most recently, Tuys played a support show for Interpol and Smashing Pumpkins at Luxexpo Open Air.

Their past album’s lead single “Look Alive” was featured in All New Rock., NMF BE and made it on the cover of Indie Goesting.
