Mia Kinsch shows the universe she carries within her. She creates colourful, naive and expressive works of art that are inspired by nature and the body. Her artistic practice explores the place of women in our society, their rights and gender inequalities. It also allows her to digest her experience and express it in a meaningful way. The naked body and its relationship to my own body has a great place in her work. Through art, she seeks a liberating practice where she dictates her choices. Mia is passionate about the body and what it represents, how we are perceived, in her case as a woman. It’s an exploration of the boundaries that surround the body today.

‘One fine evening with…’ is a carefully curated evening dedicated to an established or emerging talent from Luxembourg. Artists from the fields of music, dance, visual arts or literature will alternately present their body of work. We take the time to devote an entire evening to an artist, delving into the driving force behind their creations – their desires, fears, and sources of inspiration. « One fine evening with… » offers an intimate glimpse into each artist’s world and will be hosted by Luc Spada. The conversation with the artist will be conducted in Luxembourgish.
