Insults, death threats, rape threats - hateful online comments leave their mark, sometimes to the point of leading to suicide. Although this form of harassment can affect everyone, women are more likely to become victims.

The documentary Je vous salue salope: La misogynie au temps du numérique highlights the experiences of four women who have been particularly affected by cyber-bullying and that of a father whose daughter committed suicide as a result of online violence. The film also also shows how each of these women and this man are fighting the same battle and are committed to fight for the accountability of perpetrators and organizations that all too often enable such behaviors by their lack of action.

The screening will be followed by a debate, with the participation of LOG-in "an e Liewen ouni Gewalt", One People asbl and Service de Prévention Sud-ouest de la Police Lëtzebuerg. Moderation: Isabel Spigarelli.
